Your Rockaway Borough Exterior Cleaning Team

Rockaway Borough separated from Rockaway Township in 1894, but the village itself is far older. Settlers arrived around 1730, and by 1760 Rockaway was already a center of trade and manufacture with a gristmill, a sawmill, and a forge working off the Rockaway River. At its industrial peak the borough had two railroads, a trolley line, an iron foundry, and two Morris Canal basins. The First Presbyterian congregation dates to 1758, and its 1832 brick church still stands with Revolutionary War veterans buried in the yard.

West Main Street and the streets running off it hold a compact, older housing stock, all of it close to the river and the damp air that comes with it. Painted wood and aged trim will not take a high-pressure hose, so we soft wash instead, and we use that same low-pressure approach to pull algae streaks off roofs. Driveways, sidewalks, patios, and decks get cleaned at whatever pressure the surface can actually handle. We are family- and first-responder-owned, licensed and insured.
